ftp multiple download

while issuing mget command at the ftp prompt, it asks confirmation for each file download, which is annyoying and takes a lot of interaction.

Is there any solution?

ftp> help prompt
prompt          force interactive prompting on multiple commands
ftp>

This toggles prompting.
Alternatively, use the "-i" option when launching ftp.
