FS Proxy Utility (Windows) : Further Development??!!
Hi
I'm trying to get in contact with Michał Siejak... He is the developer of a little (but very neat) Windows utility, FS Proxy, which use QEMU visualization to share native Linux harddisk partitions via Samba. (It's the only way I know to get full R/W access to native Linux partitions in Windows.)
I've tried emailing him (no bounce - no answer). I've left a message on the FS Proxy website. No Facebook account (I could find anyway)... I might try contacting the university he was studying at I suppose?
Any other thoughts about how to contact the guy?
Ultimately it would be nice to see the project updated and hosted on SourceForge or Launchpad!! I've started doing some work on the Windows harddisk/partition enumeration code.
There's a Michał Siejak on Facebook if that's any help but this may be a common name in Poland and so not the guy you're looking for. How's your Polish, by the way? You may need it.
ciao,
jdk

Cheers dude. When I said no Facebook account I meant that the 2 Michał Siejak's that let me add them as Facebook friends appear to be a bit to vacuous to be the guy I'm looking for! I think there was only about 10 exact(ish) matches... Mind you my Facebook account isn't in my real name has no friends or anything on it at all - probably what most savvy ex-CS students would do
With the aid of Google Translate my Polish is now excellent BTW
Now that's what I call "resourceful"! Just don't try that method on Italian.

Hee, hee
Believe or not I did translate some Wallander DVD's to English subtitles (originally they are in Swedish) - using Google translate . I can't believe how much language tools have come on in the past 5 years!
All well and good - but not helping with FS Proxy development!
