[SOLVED] Freemind on Debian Stretch

Hello,
I was trying to install freemind via the deb packages from there (deb download + dpkg) http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki...eMind_on_Linux. But it mess up the installation and I cannot update my system: I had to delete it.
Has anybody an idea how it could work?
It looks like freemind is not released for stretch from Debian directly ("apt-get install freemind" dont work).
Any help/idea is welcome.

The link you provided gives repository details to use for Debian - did you try those?

yes.
But I found a similar/replacement app: freeplane
It is now installed via

Code:

apt-get install freeplane

in my debian stretch.. and looks good. Topic closed.
