Forum Software Suggestions?
I am looking into hosting a forum similar to this site. I was wondering if anyone knows about a piece of software that will do it for me. I am using Geeklog for a news blog thing, so I am wondering if there is a similar option for a forum. Thanks!

This is what this site, and a large number of other fourms, are based on.

Umm, this site is based on vB which is incredibly better than phpBB but hey, phpBB is free and it's not too shabby

Even for me phpBB is the best solution for you.
I've easily installed it in my team website ( it was the first time for me ).
It's good looking, easy configurable, very customizable, free . . .
However I've heard about other type of forums like snitz forum.
Good job
