Question Fonts are garbled on minds.com on Flatpak Firefox - ok on repo Firefox.

Hi.

Here's 2 screengrabs:

https://ibb.co/Dt7hTFh

https://i.ibb.co/TkH6dG6/Screenshot-...6-14-14-17.png

Does anyone know the cause/fix for this?

I've other web pages loaded in my Flatpak Firefox and they show properly.

If I go to the fonts options and check the box for 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above', minds.com appears fine. The problem then is that fonts on bitchute.com look bad. Is there a way to only allow minds.com to choose its own fonts?

Thanks.

It may or not help here, but uBlock Origin can toggle fonts on/off on a per-site basis. (Either way, I consider it an essential plugin.)

Hi. I love UBO, use it all the time. I already tried that, no joy.

I wonder why this only happens with minds.com on Flatpak Firefox and not the repo Firefox. Both use the same fonts. Perhaps a permission setting in Flatseal?

I decided to use minds.com on my repo Firefox instead. No idea what's going on with the Flatpak Firefox - perhaps the issue will be resolved by updates, in time.

In Flatseal, I allowed Firefox access ~/.fonts. That sorted the issue.
