Fluxbox

I am tryin to build Fluxbox on My Machine runnin SuSe 8.0.

I type in ./configure & It keeps giving me the error:

configure: error: Could not find XOpenDisplay in -lX11

If you need more details I can give you the whole log of what configure does.

Do you have the X11 development packages installed?? XOpenDisplay I think is searched for in libX11.so. If you do have them installed try telling ./configure where your X libraries are.

./configure --x-libraries=/DIR

That's the only thing I can think of.

yep the X development Packages are installed, I will tell it where to look for X libraries now and if that dont work then i will have to think of somethin else

nope tellin it where my x11 libraries didnt help give the same error
