fluxbox and related applications

I've got RH 9, and I installed fluxbox without any problems. However, I found that there are no icons on the fluxbox desktop.

Is there any way to view icons on the desktop in fluxbox......Is there a way one can change the desktop background ? Can one increase the size of the panel? ( I didnt find any option to change it in version 0.9.6pre1)

Also, which packages are available, related to fluxbox ( I just found fluxconf - to configure it graphically....however, what others r available?)

On the sidebar of there are programs that will do what you want.

bsetbg - lets you define background
