firewall and antivirus programs for mdk 10?


any suggestions for a firewall and antivirus program? thanks.

ftp://ftp.neocat.org/pub/RPMS/10.0/i586/ is the link from that site to mandrake 10 clamav. how do i install it? there's like half a dozen .rpm files for v.73. is there a certain order i go thorugh?

in mdk 10 control center--> security-->firewall, it asks: "which services would u like internet to connect to:"..it's currently marked: "all services (no firewall)". should i modify this somehow?

Yes, that is the first step. If Mandrake has a decent GUI and you don't have really complicated requirements for your firewall you should be fine. Change it to to only allow the services you want/use, like port 80 if you are running a web server. That way the only thing your box allows the Internet to see is what you want shown.
