Firestarter install on Arch Linux 0.7 (Wombat)

Howdy folks...
I am trying to get Firestarter running on Arch and am having a problem with the hit logging. Heres the eror I get when I start it up:

NETFILTER detected
Log file not found or access denied.
Firewall log monitoring disabled.: Bad address
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name
Firewall started

Now with my very limited knowledge here are a few things I have discovered or tried...

There is no file syslog.log in /var/log - I tried adding it and restarting firewall....no dice.
I made a copy of syslog-ng.conf for backup and fooled around with some code I found at \/\/ \/\/ \/\/.campin.net/syslog-ng.conf with no results. From what i could find on the net (which was not much) I think the problem may be in the syslog-ng.conf file.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ben
