firefox question

Hi ,

I just installed firefox and I can't setup the thing to set a new default homepage, I type in the homepage and tr to click OK but nothing happens. I think that it's trying to save my settings somewhere that I don't have permissions to do it.

I can't figure out how to change this so it will let me set my own default homepage.

go to the page you want to be your homepage, i.e. linuxquestions.org (shameless plug) and then click tools>options>general>use current page>ok. or is that not what is working?

I click OK and nothing happens, it just sits there.

I can click cancel and the window will close fine, but when I click OK it does nothing. That's why I think it's trying to write some file of settings to a location which is not permitted. I looked around in the settings window but couldn't find any pointer telling me where it was...

If you are using .9.1/2 you need to set up a profile for yourself and not use the default start-up profile. I think.
