Question Firefox crash question

Firefox crashes on occasion and someone mentioned on a board to launch Firefox from the terminal and to look for errors when a crash takes place. I tried this and when I exited out of Firefox I noticed the following error:

(Gecko:29981): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Deprecated function. User modifications to the MIME database are no longer supported.

(Gecko:29981): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Deprecated function. User modifications to the MIME database are no longer supported.

(Gecko:29981): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Deprecated function. User modifications to the MIME database are no longer supported.

Firefox didn't crash this time so I am wondering what the above warning means?
