Question Fedora First Timer

I have just installed Fedora Core 4 and have absolutely no experience with Linux.

I am a complete novice and do not understand how to operate Linux adequately.

I have two hardware issues;
Wireless Network Card - Belkin
Sound Card - Audigy 2 Value

With these two my issue is lack of understanding of how to get them up and running.

My other issues are trying to operate the system in general, I downloaded a .sh and yet I cannot execute it to install the program, I have no idea how to even attempt to execute files and such..

If anybody has a lot of time on their hands, could they please contact me via response here, email (andrewmilne@iinet.net.au), msn (same email as before), aim (befs aim).

Or you could just respond here and I'll read back soon.

In regards to the belkin network card, there are no linux drivers for this device, but you can download ndiswrapper, which is a wrapper for the windows driver, check it out at ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/ .
Not sure about the sound card prob, but to run a sh file just use:
Code:
sh filename.sh
or
Code:
chmod +x filename.sh
./filename.sh
hope that helps
