fedora directory server + home directories

Hi,

I am setting up a directory server + Samba PDC using Fedora Directory server as the backend. The samba integration has worked fine following the HOWTO on the FDS website.

However when creating a new user with a posix settings FDS does not create the users home directory. Is there someway that I can set this, so that when a new user is created it automatically creates the home directory, or is this something that I need to create manually?

At the moment looking at the massive documents that come with FDS I can not find any information about how to use the console to change any setting that relate to this problem.

Thanks in advance...

In the end I had to bin the fedora directory server approach to create a PDC with samba. In the end I used the tools provides by idealx.org http://www.idealx.com/content/view/184/169/lang,fr/ and that works a treat.

This provides all the user admin tools to create both windows and linux accounts. It is mainly command based, and that is how I have it set up. There is a web interface for it but as of yet I have not got it to work.

Hope this helps.
