my observations

There isn't much difference. I noticed.

1. It seems to crash a little less.

2. Yum is nicer in the newer release (more info provided, some say it's faster)

3. Gnome seems a little faster under fc3

4. Firefox is nice.

Most of this can easily be upgraded via yum. Upgrading using the CD wasn't difficult at all, it just took awhile (~10.5 hours for me!)

I think it will be fine if you keep your system up todate using yum or whatever you prefer

As stated above, if you keep up to date properly, you won't necessarily need to upgrade to FC3; unless FC2 updates stop becomming available. (Damn you, Microsoft --- Dropping upgrades for your products is the stupidest idea ever thought of).

Regards,
Willie.
