I was using Fedora Core 2 till day before. I reinstalled the system cleanly to Fedore Core 3.

Now, I installed --
aalib-1.4.0-5.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm
libfame-0.9.1-1.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm
xine-lib-1.0.0-0.14.rc6a.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm
libdvdcss-1.2.8-4.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm
kaffeine-0.4.3-0.lvn.1.b.2.i386.rpm

Kaffeine was working fine in FC2... and fully compatible with aRts. In FC3, its not detecting aRts and crashes completely if aRts is running. There is an option in kaffeine to set the 'xine engine parameters', when i select aRts from there, and click apply, kaffeine completely crashes again. I have tried deleting the ~/.kaffeine and ~/.kde folders many times, but doesnt work.

I need to keep aRts running to have multiple sounds. Please suggest a solution.

I downgraded to FC2 for the time being. Please post a solution if you get one.
