Fedora core 3 DVD to CD

My friend has a DVD drive and cd writer. I have a cdrom drive.
He now bought a Fedora core 3 DVD (bootable). He don't know how to write it in CDs. The DVD contains a bootable.iso image file from which he created a bootable cdrom. when i booted from it , it asks for fedora core images locations.

The DVDs contains directories like RPMS(2.5GB).

does he have to write RPMS directories on CDS or is there any procedure for creating CDs from that bootable DVD?. I donot have Broadband and i cannot download CD ISOs(4).

I have tried to do the same a few months ago w/ fedora core 2. I was never able to determine excactly what to do... I can send you the four CDs though, no money no nothing. Just my little contribution to a new member of our family. If you wish to do so, send me an e-mail with an address (even a PO BOX).
