Unhappy Fedora 4 on Dell Dimension 4300

Hi, I'm trying to install Fedora Core 4. I have all of the ISO images mounted to seperate disks. When I edit my system BIOS to boot from the IDE CD-ROM device first my system is failing to recognize the Fedora disk in the CD-ROM and simply boots Windows XP.

I would suspect that the ISO image is corrupt. Did you run any type of cheksum to make sure the downloaded ISO images were correct?

Is there any difference between SRPMS and the regular downloads available at redhatlinux.com?

Yes. SRPMS are not for installing; they are the source packages for when people want to rebuild everything.
