iam new to this linux. The problem is after i start the computer with fedora1 cd inside the cd writer driver ,the first screen showing that to press "enter" is appearing but when iam pressing the enter button, the cd is booting and the first screen is appearing again what ever i type(which is given in installation guide) in the fedora first installation screen,it is skipping the installation and again the above process is repeated.so,please tell how can i solve this problem.
hi kiran
instead to press <enter> type 'linux text' and then press enter it will start installation in text mode
if it also not works then your fedora core installation cd may be corrupted
I think you just have to hunt through and rm each bit.
rm -rf /usr/local/RealPlayer
rm /usr/bin/realplay
... will get most of it, minus the mozilla plugin under
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, loc files under
/usr/share/locale/$LANGUAGE/LC_MESSAGES/{realplay.mo,libgtkhx.mo}, and
realplayer icons under /usr/share/icons/hicolor/
Though, you can always try ./<binfilename>.bin --help
Just in case there's documentation.
Personally I installed from the rpm - this way I can use rpm -e to remove it.
