Facing problem while configuring OpenLDAP server

Hi all,

I m facing a problem while installing and configuring the OpenLDAP server. I have used the following command:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/src/db-4.3.27/build_unix/.libs"
./configure --enable-wrappers
make depend
make
make test

The make test command fails and the few lines of output of the make test command are:
Running ./scripts/all...
>>>>> Executing all LDAP tests for bdb
>>>>> Starting test000-rootdse ...
running defines.sh
Starting slapd on TCP/IP port 9011...
Using ldapsearch to retrieve the root DSE...

Plz help me to if any one can resolve this problem.

im not sure at all about trying to use the database libs uninstalled in their build directory like that ?
i can't imagine that that would work
is that because you needed a different version that your system db for this version of slapd ?

but beyond that since you used tcp_wrappers make sure you have 127.0.0.1 in the slapd line in /etc/hosts.allow
