Evolution on RH7

I am trying to install evolution on RH7 with no luck, as RH7 is unsupported.

Has anybody managed to install this on RH7 or indeed another unsupported version, if so then any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

I have installed it on Linux from Scratch using the source and instructions from beyond.linuxfromscratch.org ...

what particular problems are you having?

Was trying to use the method on their download page:

wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh

Everything looks good, but I am then advised that as I have RH7 it is unsupported.

Suppose, I will have to go the source route, how difficult is it?

It's not difficult. It has a lot of dependancies so it may not build right out of the box, but the configure script will always tell you what youre missing and you can download, install the missing library and get on about your day.

(I tried the wget method too and it failed as well)

let me know if you run into any problems.
