Evolution more evolved than outlook. DST breaks connection...


I have my whole family sharing calendars with Outlook 2007 now (I used to be GASP a windows user myself) by publishing to icalx and then subscribing to those published ics files. Everything works fine except that I use evolution, which handles daylight savings time differently somehow. I noticed that when I look at my dad's input of all of my PT appointments, they all occur 1 hour in the future. Clearly an issue of -8:00 and -7:00 DST. Any idea of how to fix/standardize this, though, since independently the calendars and computers are maintaining time and state perfectly well?

This sounds subtle enough to be important: I would post this as a bug to Novell Evolution developers.

Do you mean that outlook appointments viewed in evolution have the wrong time, or the other way around?
