evolution - how to purge outbound queue??

Can someone please tell me how to purge the outbound queue in Evolution.

When setting up evolution, I mistyped my return address, so that the first email that I sent gets the obvious error about a nonexistent domain. The problem is that the message stays in the queue so that I cannot send more mail, it simply gives the error when trying to resend that message as message 1 of 2 and so on. Closing Evolution and restarting the program does not work, since the status of the queue is retained. Can messages be cleared from the queue manually or the entire queue purged without attempting to send them to the SMTP server?

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

Try deleting it manually, should allow this.
