evolution can't find libraries after firefox reinstall

I uninstalled firefox 1.0 rc1 and installed firefox 1.0
This has effected Evolution. It no longer starts up because it can't find some libraries:

ldd /opt/gnome/bin/evolution
libplc4.so => not found
libplds4.so => not found
libnspr4.so => not found

These libraries are in /usr/bin/firefox/ AND /usr/local/firefox/
(i did an updatedb and then a locate on each of them)

How can i get Evolution to see these?

the actual error is:
# /opt/gnome/bin/evolution-2.0
/opt/gnome/bin/evolution-2.0: error while loading shared libraries: libplc4.so: cannot open shared object file: Nosuch file or directory

also, should be This has _affected_ , not _effected_

This may indicate a problem:
# rpm -q --whatprovides libpcl4.so
no package provides libpcl4.so

figured it out.
I added /usr/bin/firefox to /etc/ld.so.conf and did a ldconfig.
