Hi

Running a Barton 2800+ / 1GB Dual Channel DDR / GeForce 3 64MB (latest nvidia driver installed) with SB Live and a Echo Mia 24bit Sound card. Linux is on two partitions (/ and /usr) and of course swap.

Have Lilo running to segragate winXP from the real OS (*smirk) anways,

I d/led the winex3.0 src file... un tar'd, bunzip'd, etc. into my home dir on my box (not sure where to stick files for install, so I stick them in my own dir, better suggestions welcome) So in my home dir i have the dir of this uncompressed source package of winex.

So I run ./tools/wineinstall

Everything goes great (loads of text whiz by the screen- and looks like progress) until this part:

make[2]: *** [caps.o] error 1
make[1]: *** [d3dgl/lib3dgl.so] error 2
make: *** [dlls] error 1

I'm pretty new to the linux world, but i'm managing to figure most things out (had problems with ALSA (the sound system thing)) and my sb live for whatever reason but figured it out... anyways, this is my current problem that I don't understand...
