cmake is a "Cross-Platform Makefile Generator." you don't have it. how are you trying to install ktorrent? from the source? where did you download it from and what steps are you trying to follow? can you try to install from yast?

yes, from YAST only..
i downloaded file from www.ktorrent.org... i downloaded the ktorrent-3.1.1.tar.bz2[source file] & extracted in desktop...
then, my computer -> Gnome terminal ->
cd desktop
cd ktorrent3.1.1
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/path/to/prefix/of/kde4/installion

then Error message like " bash: cmake: command not found "

OK, you are trying to install ktorrent from the source code, and it appears you do not have a proper development set up. your system does not have the tools to do this. there are a lot of bittorrent clients for linux I suggest you find one that is available for installation through your package manager (yast) and install it that way. sadly I never was able to get my compiler working right on SuSE it was one of the main reasons I switched to gentoo. since you must compile everything on gentoo it comes with a perfectly set up compiler right out of the box. most people don't need to compile software themselves so a lot of distros are lacking in this area. I'm not saying you can't make it work but it's beyond my expertise. if you install a package through yast it should install all the dependencies for you and install precompiled binaries for your system. If ktorrent isn't available through yast is there any reason you need ktorrent specifically?

Edit:
The instructions you are following specificaly say:
"You will need to install cmake and all the necessary development packages (Qt,KDE,libgmp,QCA2), to get it compiled properly."
