The installed InstallScape is not for the LNX86 platform.
Please use the InstallScape for LNX86 platform.


waht does that mean?

I have a x86 intel based Ubuntu system trying to install installscape software.

Just a guess, but probably you are trying to install software intended for another platform.

Since that is proprietary non-free software it would probably be better to ask the supplier, Cadence.
