TAKEN FROM: http://slackware.osuosl.org/slackwar...desc.emacs-nox
emacs-nox: emacs-nox (Emacs binary without X support)
emacs-nox:
emacs-nox: A replacement /usr/bin/emacs binary that is not compiled with X11 menu
emacs-nox: support. This version of emacs is about 400K smaller than the full
emacs-nox: version of emacs, and is the same in every respect except for X11
emacs-nox: extensions.
So emacs-nox are help databases.
Metapkg sounds like an install utility, such as installpkg and slackpkg, etc.

Seems like you didn't choose or set which servers to update from. Look in your packages file. Reply back.
Oh, there we go. Your list of things doesn't include emacs-nox. For some odd reason, up2date is trying to update emacs-nox but its not even in your list of packages (if that's all of them).
Red Hat added the issue to Bugzilla with the id 158239.
This appears to be a bug in the Red Hat Network database schema most probably, it looks like it was introduced by Update 5.
But this is not a blocker and it's not causing serious disruption to the systems operations.
the issue with the up2date annoying message was traced to a small problem in the comps package where it's made reference to the emacs-nox package which Red Hat do not ship.
This was scheduled to be fixed in RHEL 3 Update 6.
