Error installing conkeror package in debian

Dear All,

I faced problem while installing "conkeror" package in debian

Setting up lighttpd (1.4.19-5) ...
Starting web server: lighttpd2009-07-15 19:34:16: (network.c.300) can't bind to port: 80 Address already in use
failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript lighttpd, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing lighttpd (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Setting up conkeror (0.9~git080629-2) ...
Setting up conkeror-spawn-process-helper (0.9~git080629-2) ...
Processing triggers for menu ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
lighttpd
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I suspect it because port 80 already in use. How to modify or allocate other port to install this package??

If that is not the problem, what is actually the root cause of failure installation ?? and how to overcome that problem ??

Thanks in advance

You need to configure lighthttpd server to use another port. The configuration file is PROBABLY in /etc/lighthttpd.conf and you should follow this document to set it up:

http://redmine.lighttpd.net/projects...lConfiguration

In the simplest case, you just need to change the line server.port to another port.
