error configuring software


I get this error when i type ./configure for installing PLIB:

configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

how can I fix it?

that error usually means the version of Gcc used to compile the current running kernel DOES NOT match the Gcc version that is currently installed on your system..................

solution: just re-compile a new kernel so the Gcc versions match......
