Enlightenment e17 / Elive has vanished??

I've been looking at and playing with the Elive live CD in constant and eternal anticipation of e17 being released. I have played with many versions and thought I'd get a CVS build or 0.6 version live cd.

However, on looking, Enlightenment seems to have pulled their own plug. I can find no ISO or mirror anywhere, so what's going on? Have they given up? I ask as I believe e17 and yellow dog are forming the base platform for the Sony PS3, but it has dissapeared. I am looking forward to cool widgets, animated desktops and so forth. Is there a resident e17 geek handy? Please educate me, tell me what's happening in the Enlightenment world.

Enlightenment is still alive: http://www.enlightenment.org/ will get you the details.

The elivecd project seems to be dead.

ELive CD is alive and kicking, they're at RL2 - www.elivecd.org . They ask a donation for high speed download privs though. Googling "Elive_Revolution_rl2.iso torrent" will turn up some bittorrent files that you can nab the ISO with. So i hear anyway.

I installed it the other day. I had a hiccup with it not configuring my root password right, so post install you have no root access. The fix is pretty easy though, and once I got past that, I've liked it a lot. I'm working on making Evolution work through Enlightenment tho. And E17 is way prettier than E16.

Update: Installing Evolution was a cinch. The package manager ... y'know ... works.
