emu10k1 problems on slackware

i have downloaded and installed the drivers, but i have to manually start them all the time with

emu-dspmgr -y
and
emu-dspconfig -d

i have done the emu script thing, and added the right line to /etc/modules.conf but it doesnt seem to run the setup script automatically, coz if i run it from a prompt, it works fine....

also the digital out is a bit quiet, even with all volumes at full, is there any way to increase this output

cheers

If this is still a problem, add the emu.* lines to the appropriate bootscript.
