Editing flv file

I have an flv file that's I need to reduce from 110Mb to below 100Mb.

Could be done by reducing the overall size or editing out some sections.

Any penguin friendly app that will do it?

try split, edit then
cat them all back together

man split

Ummmmm---I assume that Linspire has a text editor. What have you found in the menus?

Not using the Linspire anymore, Ubuntu now.
