Eclipse doesn't run on ntfs partition

Hi everyone, its my first post!, I'll try to do my best writting english

I have the following issue, I can't run eclipse when it is placed on a ntfs partition. (the same which works on a ext4 partition)

I've been changing fstab but I had not success. Here, some configs I've tried with:

UUID=568A606C79AFB571 /mnt/store ntfs-3g auto,rw,exec,users,umask=0 0 0

UUID=568A606C79AFB571 /mnt/store ntfs defaults,umask=007,gid=46 0 0

I already have installed a jdk:

ale@ale-desktop-linux:~$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_20"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.7) (6b20-1.9.7-0ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode)

All files placed into this mount site are owned by root user and belong to plugdev group, my user actually belongs to this group.

I'm quite desoriented...

Thanks!

NTFS doesn't support the advanced file permissions and attributes needed to actually use it as a proper Linux filesystem. You can read/write to NTFS with NTFS-3G, but it is not suitable for installing or running applications (with the possible exception of Windows programs through WINE).
