It appears thast my ISP block port 25 to my IP address.
They say it is to stop spammers using it as an open relay. However, if I go for a fixed IP address plan (£10 a month more) They all of a sudden trust me to put anti spam stuff on my server!!!!!

I'm with BT openworld in case any of U Brits are thinking of going with them!! I hear Nildram is a good ISP. I will be going there after this 12 month contract ends.

Mmmmh, more probable because you have a 'regular' account with your ISP. If you use Postfix and you install it will NOT be an open relay unless you change some standard settings. For other MTA's this could be different.
