Rep:
dvd::rip failing
i have had prior success using dvd::rip to rip my dvds, now all of a suden it's failing on me...
the program is gettin 'lazy', only ripping a few hundered frames of a dvd then stopping with out an error, or giving an error 'chaper x is to small and useless...'
what's going on?
The only time I have experienced that kind of failure is on certain types of DVD's using newer encryption(that hasn't been patched in libdvdcss yet).
Which movie are you trying to back up? I noticed this issue on Resident Evil 2 and another from the same movie studio.
I don't remember the codec change but I know that patches are available for windows tools and will probably be available eventually for this tool as well.
