DVD not read using acidrip in Mandriva 2007

I just upgraded to Mandriva 2007 x64, and I am trying to rip a DVD.
I load the DVD and press 'Load', but no chapters show up. The status message at the bottom says 'DVD read ok', but it doesn't.
I can watch the same DVD in Kaffeine so I would think I have the codecs.
Any suggestions? I used the latest version of acidrip available using the Mandrake Control Center.
Thanks

This could be another case of problems using applications on a 64 bit kernel.

I looked up acidrip at mandriva.com. I couldn't find any helpful information about problems running acidrip on Mandriva.

I replied to your post because nobody else had done so. I didn't want you to think that we're unfriendly. We may not be able to diagnose your problem but we're friendly.

That's always a possibility. However, the previous install on the machine was on 64bit as well as another machine I have, and it works fine. The only thing that doesn't work is the status doesn't show. The ripping still works though. I am running 2007 Cooker, and I will try Official instead.

Just installed Mandriva 2007.0 official on a 32 bit computer, and I am having the same problem with Acidrip not showing the chapters. It says the chapters are read OK, but nothing shows up..... Does anyone have acidrip working with Mandriva 2007? Seems like it's a problem with 2007, and not 64bit version.
I can watch movies, so I have the codecs.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Been having a similar problem, with both 2007 & 2007.1, but with the progress box not doing anything at all. The dvd still rips, & progress can be watched by right clicking the file & clicking properties. This is with a 32bit install - older versions have worked fine with the install, but not the recent ones...
