Unhappy Driver won't compile on Kernel 2.6 - works fine on Kernel 2.4

Hi guys,

I use an iBurst PCMCIA modem. The driver used to work fine on Kernel 2.4x but I recently loaded FC3 and now can't get it to compile.

The documentation says it'll work with kernel 2.4 and up. I'm not sure how to pipe the output of the make command to a text file so I can post it here?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Something like this:

make whatever > /root/make.output.txt

Linux Driver does not compile in kernel 2.6

iBurst PCMCIA card driver currently supports 2.4 kernel only. It does not support kernel 2.6. It also does not support SUSIE falvour of Linux. Is any one there interested to develop these drivers.

Iburst PCMCIA

Hello

We are trying to get the PCMCIA Iburst card working on Redhat. The server can see the card on PCMCIA level and load the drivers which creates the Ibut0 interface but can not com with it.

Which version of Kernel 2.4 works with the linux drivers.

I compiled the driver on Mandrake 10 using the 2.4 kernel that came with it (I had to install it with urpmi because I forgot to choose it during setup)

It worked fine for me. Not sure what the exact version is though, I'll have a look when I'm back home...
