I have a IBM T23 with Slackware12.o I get the following when I do;
glxinfo | grep direct

# glxinfo | grep direct
libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 2.1.2 savage (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/savage_dri.so
drmOpenByBusid: Searching for BusID pci:0000:01:00.0
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 4, (OK)
drmOpenByBusid: drmOpenMinor returns 4
drmOpenByBusid: drmGetBusid reports pci:0000:01:00.0
libGL error: drmMap of framebuffer failed (Invalid argument)
libGL error: reverting to (slow) indirect rendering
direct rendering: No
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect

On line 4 from the bottom, What is ( drmMap of frame buffer ) and how do I solve this ?

Thanks,
digger
