Dovecot public folder not writable

I am using dovecot 2.0.9 on CentOS 6.2. I have created Public folder successfully but I am not able to write in it through Outlook or through SquirrelMail. Configuration I have done is:

# dovecot -n
# 2.0.9: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
# OS: Linux 2.6.32-220.7.1.el6.i686 i686 CentOS release 6.2 (Final)
