Doom 3 DVD vs CD version?

I was going to buy doom 3 for linux and noticed theres a dvd and cd version. Whats the difference between the two, aside of the obvious ones a dvd ones a cd....Graphics better on the dvd? Does the dvd take away anything?

I don't believ there is a difference.
Also, there is not a DOOM3 Linux release. ID stated the would release the binaries shortly after the game release, but they have not released them yet. You will have to buy windows version the install with binaries when then release them.

I have heard(read) of peeps running Doom3 under Cedega But I have not tried myself.

Ah thanks. I was on a linux games site and saw it listed and it didnt say preorder or anything so I presumed it was released already.
