Distro to run with no hd in machine
Is there a distro that can run in a machine that has no hard drive? I've tried several, and from a cd they all load to a point, then quit. I want to build a machine that will boot from a flash drive and use a second flash for data storage. I've tried dsl, Puppy One Bone, Puppy Bare Bones, and Feather, all very small which I thought would be able to work, but they don't. If I can find one that will at least run from the cd, I will believe that I'm close.
if you're still looking, check out slax. Its a live CD based on Slackware. You can burn one CD, and put additional modules, save configurations and such on a USB drive.

Sounds like another good idea to try. I can't do anything until Monday, though, as I am out of blank cd's and will have to wait until the bank and the shops open Monday morning.
