Directory Tree with Unicode Filenames

Hi people!!!

I am looking for an idea how can I handle unicode filenames in directory tree.

I have read GNU C library but they only have (char *) C style strings.

with function:

int ftw (const char *filename, ftw func t func, int descriptors)

But char* suffers...

So Problem is how to traverse directory tree in linux and get filenames in unicode string. (ofcourse programming language C++).

After that I want to read files content as wstring.

If you can suggest good idea...
Thank's a lot...
