difficulty burning cd's

Hello. It's me again. This problem seems both hardware and software related, so I don't really know where to put it. Oh, well. Here goes. I figured out how to burn data and music cd's and can copy data cd's.I can rip music cd's and then copy the songs onto another cd. However, I ham having trouble copying mixed format cd's. If the cd has both music and data, such as LInkin Park's Meteora, I can't rip it. I have tried to copy the cd, but any cd i try to dirrectly copy with any program other than x cd roast, I get an error message such as "command: no such file or directory: could not open SCSII interface" or " command: no such file or directory: could not find SCSII driver" or something like that. If there's any help you can give me, I deeply appreciate it.

Thanks
