diff files

I have two files want to be file the difference , the format is as below

file A
======
file1.txt
file2.txt
file3.txt
"

file B
======
errorfile1.txt
errorfile2.txt
errorfile3.txt
"

the file B has the files but all files begins with "error" , if I use diff to find the difference , it should pop all three lines are different . Can advise if I want to ignore this kind of difference , that mean if the line in file B is begins with the "error" , that treat this is no difference ( then do not output the difference to screen) , only check other
difference of both files , what can i do ? thx

Out of the zero reply list, since it is a duplicate of http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...f-file-742106/. elainelaw, take in mind that you can edit your own posts, so that you don't need to re-post the question in a new thread. Check the EDIT button in the lower-right corner of your posts.
