debian users and firefox how much longer to wait???

before apt-get has the newer 1.0.4 to fix the security issues with 1.0.3...

i have been running apt-get update followed by apt-get install mozilla-firefox since 1.0.4 was released and i still keep getting the following:::

Code:
p4ssmahome:~# apt-get install mozilla-firefox
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
mozilla-firefox is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 18 not upgraded.
so what gives. FF is still telling me it is vs 1.0.3-2

this is my sources.list

Code:
#deb file:///cdrom/ sarge main

##### main Debian source
deb http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib

##### Official US Debian archive
deb ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/ testing main

##### Official mplayer and deverip
#deb http://dijkstra.csh.rit.edu/~mdz/debian unstable mythty

deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main contrib non-free
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US testing/non-US main contrib non-free

##### Azureus from plaisthos.de/az.html
deb http://www.plaisthos.de/deb/ ./
deb-src http://plaisthos.de/deb/ ./

Might be in testing or unstable. I have had 1.0.4 since the day after Mozilla released there version. Since that time there was even an update.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050517 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package 1.0.4-2)

From what I can tell Firefox 1.0.4 is only in unstable.

# Unstable
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-non-US/ unstable/non-US main contrib non-free

# Sources
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-non-US/ unstable/non-US main contrib
non-free

# Testing
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-non-US/ testing/non-US main contrib non-free

# Sources
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-non-US/ testing/non-US main contrib non-free

It's not in Sarge. I think everything has to be in Sid for at least 2 weeks before it gets moved to testing. Doesn't make any sense with FF, though.

thanks craigevil ill see what i can add to get the most current vs of FF.

Emerson i agree with something that is already stable there is no reason to move it through the standard sid, sarge, woody steps.

well sadly that did not work, but i found a solution that did.

by changing from testing to unstable i was able to grab FF 1.0.4-2 this afternoon. i then changed sources back to testing.
