Debian: how to mount the repository DVDs all at once?

hi,

i downloaded all 10 debian DVDs, plus the update DVD, and would like to mount the *.iso files all at once from a USB-harddisk as a repository. i guess its also possible to only mount it when i need it.

can anybody help me or have a link how to mount them and tell the OS where to look for the DVDs.

i think the command would be something like "apt-cd" or something similar.

thanks for any help!

I take it you have NO internet access on any of the machines that will be connecting to this
and that there is no internet access anywhere in your building or town / city

you have not found the answer yet
type into google " mount iso linux"

the very first hit has this
Code:

su -
mkdir /mnt/disk
mount -o loop disk1.iso /mnt/disk
1) first hit
http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/how-to...der-linux.html
2)second hit
http://serverfault.com/questions/198...-file-in-linux
3) third hit
http://www.howtogeek.com/168137/moun...mage-in-linux/
4) fourth hit
http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/301

also those 10 or 11 dvd's are going to be out of date and old

and 99% of it you will never use

most people would only use about 1 to 2 % of what is on those old dvd's
