CVS: rolling back?

I did "wrong" modifications to a file, and need to go back and get the older file. How that's can be done?

Thanks

Got such error message, have no idea how to solve the problem.

"/tmp/cvs25AYLG" 10L, 311C written

Log message unchanged or not specified
a)bort, c)ontinue, e)dit, !)reuse this message unchanged for remaining dirs
Action: (continue)
cvs server: sticky tag `1.32' for file `index.php' is not a branch
cvs [server aborted]: correct above errors first!
cvs commit: saving log message in /tmp/cvsOmLHZO

Any ideas?
