cut audio and/or video for multiple files

Hi,

I have about 70 video files which have some small songs in between, at random locations. What i want to do is extract either the audio or the video of these files. Cutting them one by one using mencoder would be a very big job. So what i want is some application which does this:

On hitting some key it starts cutting the file and then on hitting some other key it stops. Then while watching the files i would be able to stock the song files. Is there any application which does this or is there any other way this can be accomplished in a easy way.

Please help.

Thanks and Regards,
vatti
