Custom shortcut

Trying to setup a hot key, using the following under KDE Neon Plasma 5.20.4:

Shortcuts->Custum Shortcuts→Edit→New→Global→Command

I want a hot key to launch FireFox
Command is /usr/bin/firefox
Trigger - whatever I try - is NOT registering, it remain None

Any idea?

Cheers
Alex

It's some time since I used KDE, but the trick used to be
- run the menu editor
- navigate to the entry for Firefox
- select Properties
- and it has a button for creating a shortcut

I hope that still works!

Right-click on the menu icon in the panel and select "Edit Applications," then navigate to the menu item you want to edit. Go to the "Advanced" tab.

Full disclosure: I didn't have much luck with that, but you can also go to System Settings-->Shortcuts and create shortcuts there.
