Crunch Bang Audio player

The default audio player seemingly will only play the first track on a disk and not move to other track sor display them.
I currently have an audio book on 12 CD's and so far have not discovered how to move from track one on disk one.
Disk 2 for example starts on chapter 10,so presumably there are 8 more tracks to access on disk1.
Is there perhaps a more featured play er to down load?

I would suggest you try rhythmbox for CD's and audio. That is, if vlc doesn't work for you.
Also consider the option of installing nautilus file manager to access odd file formats like CD's, ftp via bluetooth etc.

I have nautilus installed but use the default file manager for normal day to day use.
(nautilus is a resource hog, so I only use that when I need to)
